Branch Head - SME

Job Details: Accountabilities-


To achieve the Units target in respect of gross operating
income, number of new accounts to be booked, total
deposits to be achieved, number of privilege banking
customers to be booked and to ensure that all the renewal
proposals are submitted on time.

· To co-ordinate with the Head of SME Banking for
business and product development.

· To achieve the stipulated targets of the unit
with respect to income, number of borrowing relationships
to be booked, deposit mobilization, privilege banking etc.


· Over viewing the performance of existing
borrowing accounts in the unit to increase the account
profitability.

· Soliciting of new borrowing relationships plus
increase the income from existing portfolio.

· To monitor the performances/objectives of
Relationship Managers/ Officers in the unit.

· To review credit proposals/memos and recommend
to HOSME/Credit Controller.

· To ensure that all house keeping issues of the
unit are complied with.

· Close monitoring of accounts to avoid past-dues
and to follow up on excesses and irregularities, these
irregularities/warning signs to be promptly advised to
HOSME.

· To ensure compliance with security documentation
requirements, audit, anti-money laundering, central bank
regulations as amended from time to time.

· To ensure submission of review proposal to HO
well in advance to avoid limit expiry.

· Report to HOSME on a weekly basis in relation to
the Units performance.

Education level

Bachelors Degree related to a business field such as
accounting or economics.

Professional Qualifications

MBA/ Banking Diploma / CAIIB



Work Experience

10 years experience of which 6 years in Relationship
Management with a reputable Bank.

Good market knowledge

Job Details: Accountabilities-

To contribute in the department s profitability by
acquiring new relationship, leverage existing ones in
designated territories and through assigned products.

Ensure smooth functioning and service quality of
Department in absence of Head of FI/Relationship Manager.



To review, grow, and implement Rebate product/program and
to ensure smooth flow of outgoing business, in line with
FI/Bank policy. To act as an independent contact with
internal / external customers so as to enhance customer
satisfaction.

Responsible for profitability/business numbers and sales
development in the assigned area in consultation with Head
of FI.

Continue managing risk buying/selling capabilities in the
secondary market for better portfolio management and
identify new non-customer related transaction for risk
participation in assigned territories.

Regular visits/meeting with correspondent partners/other
FIs to explore new business opportunities and strengthen
the existing business ties.

Discuss, recommend and process country and bank limits as
per credit policy guidelines at least 15 days before
expiry in case of renewals.

In consultation of Head of FI, opening up at least 2 new
territories for business and setting up limits for
identified banks within.

With Head of FI, making travel plans for assigned
countries and meeting identified banks to generate more
business and to cement/build relationships. Travelling
with Head of FI to these countries or alone some times.

To manage and grow Rebate product/program and ensure
smooth handling of our outgoing business.

Meeting incoming correspondent banks/visitors with Head of
FI or RM. To carry a successful image of FI.

Identify opportunities for the business group, assist Head
of FI in developing new projects /products and align these
with bank s capabilities and policies

Dimensions of the Role (for example revenue, sales
targets, assets, liabilities)

Net profit target AED 4-5 million p.a (AED 2-3 mln from
existing + build-up Rebate product and AED 2 mln from
participation/other products)

Asset Purchase AED 200 million p.a

Asset Resale AED 200 million p.a

Background and Experience

Education level required - Minimum Graduate with
specialising in Accounting, Commerce or Economics. MBA
preferred considering growth
Professional / Technical qualifications / Diplomas:
Business degree preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of FI/Trade Finance.

Good Presentation and communication skills
Process and policy management experience and skills

Desired knowledge of economy, market conditions,
