Job Title: Credit Admin Officer
Location: Masafi, Fujairah
Salary: AED 14K - 17K
To minimise the credit risk of the Bank by ensuring an independent control over the credit process, ensuring compliance of all internal procedures and operational controls.
To provide an efficient and high quality centralised credit administration/documentation service
Job Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Review Limit Advice: Study the limit advices approved by Head Office and have a clear picture in mind regarding the constitutional documents required, contents of facility letter and list of security documents to be obtained.
Execution of Limit Advice: Verify the maintenance of new review date and /or reduction of limit if any, in the system ; ensure that the facility letter and security documents are prepared strictly as per terms of approval and forward the same to the Units and create a record of the same in Pending Activation File.
Limit Activation: After receipt of the offer letter and all required security documents executed by the customer from the Unit, ensure that necessary accounts are opened /limits are loaded at account levels in the System to enable the customers to commerce utilization of the new and /or increased limits and simultaneously ensuring that facility arrangements fee is recovered from the customer and interest rates and other tariffs are correctly recorded.
Balance Confirmation: Check are sign of f the balance confirmation letters provided too the customers auditors for the audit purpose and ensure that the Bank’s charges are recovered from the customers.
Lodgement of Securities: Ensure that the details of security documents provided by the customer are properly recorded in the ”Record of Security Documents lodged in safe Custody Forms” before its lodgement in safe custody.
Approval of TTs: Approve TTs raised b various units for loan disbursement/rescheduling; invoice discounting after ensuring that they are all with in the approved terms and conditions.
Monthly returns –loans against Deposits. Ensure reported correctly.
Quarterly Central Bank Returns of Dubai, Ensuring timely reporting of returns.
Assisting Asst. Manager Centralised Credit Administration (CCA) in submission of credit related internal management reports.
Assist other staff in their work in case of need
Education level
Ă˜Graduate, preferably in Banking and Accounting
Professional Qualifications
Banking Diploma preferred
Background and Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience with reputed bank in credit administration and documentation and all other credit admin function. Working experience with other departments (i.e. operation and L/Cs ) will be added advantage.
Specialist Skills/Competencies Required for the Role
Very good knowledge of commercial companies law of U.A.E and knowledge about types of companies/establishments and Knowledge about product/facilities and risk involved on the facilities offered.
