Job Title: Recovery Officer - Corporate banking

A leading local bank seeks to hire a Recovery Officer for their Corporate Credit unit whose primary function is to help maximize recoveries and minimize losses on the Bank’s corporate portfolio. The role will be based in Dubai and the key responsibilities would include:

* Setting recovery targets and ensuring the recovery targets are achieved
* Working out recovery strategies and remedial action plans
* Monitoring the classified portfolio on an ongoing basis and initiating appropriate remedial measures
* Negotiating with borrowers, including onsite visits to borrowers' place of business to evaluate proposals for restructuring and revival of the problem projects
* Instituting legal action against defaulters, monitoring progress and proposing next course of action
